Chris Campbell: Executive Vice President
Chris Campbell began his career in the collections industry in 1981, when he joined DAKCS Software Systems and helped pioneer computer-based collections. He was instrumental in creating “The Sting”™ Collection System, which replaced
card-based queues that were standard in the industry at that time.
Chris went on to greatly expand the capabilities of electronic collection systems by moving from early proprietary computing platforms to a standard, UNIX based code that is portable across many modern computing architectures. He has been involved with design and development of many of current products available from DAKCS including Beyond.Net, VIC and @Client Services.
He holds a bachelors degree in Computer Information Systems and currently serves as the Executive Vice President for DAKCS coordinating the research and development, revision and software quality assurance services.
Although Chris has been responsible for many technological advances for the industry, he believes that the key to success is working with individuals that possess excellent communication and technical skills, and that truly want to make a difference.
Dax Nelson: Director of Product Implementation
Dax Nelson, the Director of Product Implementation is the newest member of the DAKCS management team. In 2006, Lex appointed him to this critically important position.
Dax holds a BS degree in Information Systems and Technology from Weber State University and is currently pursuing a Masters Degree from Utah State University. In addition to achieving his educational goals, Dax enjoys the Utah outdoors and taking part in all of the wonderful activities available.
